Membership is open to anyone holding an associate or equivalent; registered nurse (RN), baccalaureate (BA) or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Join AAUW at the state level or find a branch in your area.

Student affiliate is open to anyone who does not already hold an undergraduate degree and who is enrolled in a two-or four-year regionally accredited educational institution.

College/University Partner Members provides educational institutions the opportunity to easily share all the benefits of AAUW with their students, faculty, and staff. Partners collaborate with branches on community programs, receive national visibility, and benefit from AAUW’s powerful network that supports them and advocates on their behalf.
