Lake Washington Institute of Technology Scholarship 

Beginning in 2025, The Lake Washington Branch established an annual scholarship at Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech), the local technical college in Kirkland, WA.  The $2,000 award goes to a student in the Early Childhood Education program.  Through a collaboration with the college, their staff selects the recipient using criteria we have provided.  We hope to continue this community outreach for years to come, while also participating in events at the college which celebrate donors and students.

The first scholarship was awarded to one student recipient in the Spring 2025 quarter.

The Lake Washington Branch will take personal donations to add to the scholarship fund through a personal check payable to AAUW-LWB, PO Box 40354, Bellevue, WA 98015. Specify that you would like the donation to go to the LWTech scholarship fund.
