AAUW has more than 170,000 members and supporters across the nation as well as 800 college/university partners all working to further its mission. Since its founding in 1881, AAUW has taken positions on and supported important educational, economic, and social issues.

Giving unrestricted gifts to AAUW Funds is the best way to provide general support to AAUW where it is most needed for programs. By giving unrestricted gifts to AAUW Funds, a donor receives the benefit of a tax-deduction and makes it possible to respond to the most urgent needs and greatest opportunities to break through educational and economic barriers — and makes the biggest impact on women and girls who are working for their fair chance. It is also possible to restrict tax-deductible gifts to specific funds or programs. At the national level AAUW is a 501(c)(3) charitable entity, and the AAUW Funds support its work. Lake Washington Branch members have a long history of supporting AAUW Funds.

You can donate online to the national website,  contribute online using our secure website. (Do you have an account with password?) Go to AAUW.org; click DONATE and select fund to which you wish to donate; click Count Me In and follow the login instructions.

If you prefer you can mail a check payable to AAUW Funds and include your membership number in the memo section to ensure that you and the branch credited for your gift. If you prefer to restrict your gift to a specific fund, please indicate the name or number of the fund in any accompanying document.
